Detailers wanted
Kleen All Boats is a family owned and operated boat detailing crew based in Port Charlotte, FL. We work docks and marinas across the Gulf Coast, from Anna Maria Island down to Burnt Store, and we look for people who share the trait the business was built on: a sharp eye for detail and the work ethic to back it up.
What the work looks like
This is hands-on outdoor work at the water. A typical day is spent at private docks, lifts, and marinas: hand washing hulls and topsides, waxing and buffing gel coat, cleaning vinyl and canvas, polishing stainless, and detailing cabins. You will be on your feet, in the Florida sun, moving between jobs across the service area. If you would rather be on a dock than in a cubicle, that is the right instinct for this job.
What we look for
Experience with boats or detailing helps, but it is not the first thing we look at. The crew was built on people who notice the water spot everyone else misses and who finish the job the same way whether anyone is watching or not. Show up on time, take care of the customer's boat like it is your own, and the rest can be taught.
The crew you would join
Kleen All Boats was opened in 2004 by Dante and Mary Lynn Cioffi after they moved from New Jersey to Port Charlotte, and their daughter Francesca works as Dante's right hand. That is the whole company: a family that works together every day. New crew members work alongside the family, learn the methods directly from the people who built them, and see the full range of the trade, from weekly wash programs to full compounding, teak restoration, and yacht details.
The route has grown from the Port Charlotte docks to 30 communities across Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte counties, which means steady work in every season and no two days at the same dock.
